My own sleeves are almost entirely handpoked and are a work in progress. My teacher, a handpoking artist named Manrique Vargas from Costa Rica, taught me and got me started with this piece and I've been continuing it myself since then. It's slow going for the most part because most of the work is on my right arm and I am right handed, handpoking with my non-dominant hand is a tedious process, but worth the effort.
